On behalf of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Children's Services, A.L.L. FOR KIDS (Activities, Lessons & Leisure For Kids) provides financial assistance to parents to cover the costs associated with enrolling their child, up to the age of 15, in extra-curricular activities in Chatham-Kent.

  • Recreational and house league activities are covered to a maximum of two seasons per year per child
  • Some support for equipment costs is available
  • Contact must be made with the Co-ordinator prior to registering in an activity
  • Call the Coordinator to learn more about what activities are available in your area

A.L.L. FOR KIDS includes music lessons, camp, Girl Guides, sports, and much more. Other activities may be available in your area. Call the Program Co-ordinator for more details.

How Do I Apply and Am I Eligible?

Parents of children ages 0-15, who are residents of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, contact the Program Co-ordinator at 351-8573 ext. 2171. An appointment will be made for an application and "income test" to determine eligibility. Full and partial subsidies are available depending on your income.

In order for your application for childcare subsidy to be completed, the following documents must be provided to determine accurate income. If documents are not made available at the time of the interview, a decision regarding your subsidy eligibility may be delayed.

Necessary documents include:
  • birth verification
  • Social Insurance Number
  • verification of  income by your Income Tax Notice of Assessment or Child Tax Benefit
