On behalf of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Children's Services, A.L.L. FOR KIDS (Activities, Lessons & Leisure For Kids) provides financial assistance to parents to cover the costs associated with enrolling their child, up to the age of 15, in extra-curricular activities in Chatham-Kent. |

A.L.L. FOR KIDS includes music lessons, camp, Girl Guides, sports, and much more.
Other activities may be available in your area. Call the Program Co-ordinator for more details.

How Do I Apply and Am I Eligible?
Parents of children ages 0-15, who are residents of the Municipality of Chatham-Kent, contact the Program Co-ordinator at 351-8573 ext. 2171. An appointment will be made for an application and "income test" to determine eligibility. Full and partial subsidies are available depending on your income.
In order for your application for childcare subsidy to be completed, the following documents must be provided to determine accurate income. If documents are not made available at the time of the interview, a decision regarding your subsidy eligibility may be delayed.
Necessary documents to include:

Birth verification

Social Insurance Number

Verification of income by your Income Tax Notice of Assessment or Child Tax Benefit |
Complete & Submit the Activity Request Form:
Look under DOWNLOADS for the Activity Request Form to complete and submit to the AFL program Coordinator. You can type in the details directly into the form to submit your request and then you have 3 options to submit the form:
1) Do you have an email program installed locally on your computer ?
If you said YES to this question, you do have something like Outlook installed on your personal computer.
Complete the Activity Request form, then click the button EMAIL to AFK WORKER within this form. This should open a new email message in outlook with the completed form attached to the email.
2) Do you have an Internet based email account?
If you said YES to this question, you need to open the internet and login to your email account; such as gmail/ hotmail from a website.
Complete the Activity Request form, then click the button SAVE FORM button within this form. You will have to save a copy of the completed form locally on the computer. You will need to be logged into your web based email account, compose/open a new email message , then attach this form to the email to submit.
3) Do you not have email but would like to print to submit?
If you said YES to this question, you do not have email access.
Complete the Activity Request form, then click the button PRINT FORM button within this form. You will have a print copy of the completed form to submit to the AFK worker. You will need either drop-off/ mail the form to Children's Services at the address below.
