Maple Leaf / St. Anthony's Mausoleum is pleased to offer prime location crypts and niches in our facility.
The word "mausoleum" is derived for "MAUSOLUS", King of Caria, whose magnificent tomb was built by his wife, Queen Artemisis, in 353 BC.
Crypt burial is of scriptural origin. Jesus Christ was laid to rest in a "before need" hewn rock crypt provided by Joseph of Arimathea. During this era, Christians were similarly entombed in the Catacombs. This custom has continued for centuries and today there is a growing preference in our society for above ground entombment.
To meet this growing trend Maple Leaf Cemetery & St. Anthony's Cemetery would be pleased to answer any questions you have or give a guided tour of the Mausoleum. Our Mausoleum has been constructed by master craftsmen and is comprised of only the finest materials. Imported granite crypt fronts with bronze lettered fronts form an attractive wall mosaic. Each crypt, is a clean dry, vented chamber with natural circulation of air.
