Interest on Unpaid Taxes
The 2011 Final Tax Bill was mailed out in late July. If you did not receive your bill, please contact the Tax Office at 519.436.3210 or by e-mail at CKaccountsreceivable@chatham-kent.ca .
A penalty for late payment of 1.25% per month is added the day following the due date and the first day of each month thereafter. Payments on account are applied first toward the outstanding interest and penalty, then to the oldest outstanding taxes.
