Internet Access
Chatham-Kent Public Library provides computer and wireless access to online information and services at all 11 Library locations.
A valid Library Card (in good standing) from the Chatham-Kent Public Library is required to use computers in the Library. If you live, work or study in Chatham-Kent and do not have a valid Library Card, you can apply for one any Library location. Current identification with your address is required.

Out of town guests may obtain temporary computer access by presenting photo identification.
Internet Access Computers
All of our 11 Library locations offer computers with free Internet access. To ensure access to as many users as possible, patrons are allowed a maximum of one hour per person, per day. Time limits may be extended, depending on user demand and computer availability. Please ask staff if you require additional time.

PLEASE NOTE: All public computers will be logged off 10 minutes prior to closing to allow for nightly security and maintenance procedures. Please listen for the Librarian's closing message. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated
Express Internet Computers
Express Internet computers are available at the Chatham Library location. The use of the Express Internet computers is limited to 10 minutes for quick email or Internet searching.

Reserving a Computer
You can reserve a computer by calling or visiting any Library location.

Reservations may be made remotely online at:
http://www.chatham-kent.ca:8087/webmodule/pcres/reserve.pl.

In Chatham, you can use the designated PC Reservation Station on the second floor near the information desk.

Reservations may be made up to two days in advance. Once your reservation is made, your assigned time and computer number will be displayed on screen.

Be on Time: the reservation system gives only a five-minute grace period for your assigned session. If you are more than five minutes late, your reservation is canceled and you will forfeit that time.

Be Courteous: If you need to cancel or change your reservation, please call and let us know.
