Comic Creation Camp

Love comics? Here’s your chance to make one!

Kids age 8-12 can come to the library this March Break to put together their own comic on the computer. We’ll print and colour the finished creations. All you’ll need to bring is your imagination – computers and pencil crayons provided!

Comic Creation Camp workshops are being held between March 15 and 20. Call your local library to register – space is limited.

Free Computer Training at Your Library!
Sign up for a free one-on-one computer training session now through March 2010! Visit our CAP website for schedules. Contact your local library to register or for more information.

About the CAP Program
The Community Access Program (
CAP) is a key part of the Government of Canada’s Connecting Canadians initiative, administered by Industry Canada, to make Canada the most connected nation in the world.

CAP provides public access to help individuals and communities learn about the Internet, develop information technology skills, exchange ideas with others, research information and connect to government programs and services.

CAP @ CKPL
CAP serves all residents of Chatham-Kent through the municipality’s 11 branch library system. With the help of CAP youth workers, CKPL provides one-on-one training sessions and group workshops on the effective use of the Internet and related information technologies.

Free computer access and online tutorials are available for independent use year-round. For online tutorials, visit:
Contact your local library for more information.
