| The Library Café |
| Linger in your Library and enjoy a light refreshment! Located on the first floor, The Library Café serves light refreshments including coffee, pop, juice, hearty soup and home-baked goodies to library patrons as they catch up on their reading. A partnership between the Chatham-Kent Public Library and Community Living Chatham-Kent, the Café is open 9:30 to 7:00 Monday – Thursday and 9:30 to 3:30 Friday and Saturday. |
| McKeough Local History Room |
| Tucked away in a quiet area on the second floor, the McKeough Local History Room houses a comprehensive local history collection. A variety of resources are available for use in-library only, including: local newspapers on microfilm dating from 1841 (indexed for births, marriages, deaths to 1997); Kent County Census records from 1851 - 1901; black history collection; and books by and about the people of Chatham and area. Genealogists and researchers can explore this wealth of material by requesting assistance from the Information Staff. |
| Kent Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society Library & Bookstore |
| Located next to the McKeough Local History Room, the OGS - Kent Branch Library and Bookstore offers an historical and genealogical collection of interest to researchers and those tracing their family trees. The Library and Bookstore is open Monday through Saturday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Volunteer members of the organization are available to provide assistance in using the collection. |
| Meeting Room |

Located on the Main Floor, the meeting room accommodates 72 people and is available for use in the evening and on Saturdays.The rental rates are:
Non-profit groups: $30 per booking (up to 4 hours) $60 for full day on Saturday
For-profit groups: $55 per booking $110 for Saturdays |

In addition, a multimedia projector donated by the Chatham Computer Users Group is available for use in the Meeting Room, at an additional cost of $100 per booking.
