The Municipality of Chatham-Kent would like to remind community organizations that the deadline for applications for the 2010 round of the Community Partnership Fund (CPF) is December 11, 2009 at 4:30 pm. Community groups which have projects in mind for 2010 are invited and strongly encouraged to apply for funding of up to 50% of project costs, to a maximum of $10,000 per project for Mainstream projects and a maximum of $5,000 per project under the Festival and Events component.

Grant guidelines and application forms are available at all Municipal Centres, Information Desks, and libraries throughout Chatham-Kent and are also available online at www.chatham-kent.ca (under the Community Services heading, choose the “Getting Involved” link).

All applications will be reviewed by a committee made up of representatives from various municipal departments. That committee will then make funding recommendations for Council approval. It is anticipated that Council will review and approve successful applications by late February, 2010.
