Reporting of Dead Birds Has Ended

Reporting of Dead Birds Has Ended

The testing of dead birds for West Nile virus has ended for the season. The Chatham Kent Public Health Unit will no longer be picking up dead crows and blue jays. If a resident finds a dead bird on their property, they are asked to bury it or properly dispose of it in a double bag.

If you require any information on the West Nile Virus please call 519-352-7270 ext. 2902 or visit online at www.chatham-kent.ca/health.
