Trouble Shooting CKAT
1. I can't access CKAT at all.
Firewalls are the primary reason most users can't access the CKAT page. If you are using a workplace computer, you would have to ask your IT staff to open up their firewall to accommodate the CKAT web address.
If you are a home user, you need to permit access to our catalogue in your firewall software.
If you have not purchased firewall software, you may still have a firewall. Windows XP has a built-in firewall which automatically is turned on in some installations. Again, access needs to be permitted through the operating system software. Please consult your firewall software documentation.
2. I can't log in to "My Account."
Please verify the status of your card and your PIN with Library staff.
3. My currently checked out items won't renew.
The maximum number of times you may renew items online is twice (2). Please call the Library to renew the items for you to ensure fines are not levied against your account.
