Dresden is the home of the internationally renowned Uncle Tom's National Historic Site, one of the major stops on the African Canadian Heritage Tour.

Dresden is also a popular tourist attraction ... with the Dresden Raceway, a standard-bred horse track which hosts races on Sundays and holiday Mondays from May to September, and the OLG Slots, with over 100 slot machines.

The vibrant community also features several athletic fields, a skateboard park and an arena.
