CKPL Grows Seed Library
CKPL Grows Seed Library provides an opportunity for residents of Chatham-Kent to grow healthy gardens, have access to affordable food and create beautiful spaces in their own backyards and local communities. Chatham-Kent Public Library members can borrow seeds for free, save the seeds they grow, and return some of the seeds back to the library at the end of the growing season. CKPL Grows Seed Libraries are available at the Chatham, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Wallaceburg Branches.
Save Your Seeds for CKPL!
Community members used their CKPL Library cards to check out over 1300 seed packages this growing season, allowing CK residents to grow healthy food and create beautiful spaces.
Now we need your help!
Please consider saving your seeds this Fall and donating them to the CKPL Grows Seed Library. With your support, CKPL can continue to grow the Seed Libraries, offering more seeds at more locations in 2018. Donations can be dropped off at any CKPL branch.
