Tuesday Storytime

Time: 2:00 pm
Ages: 0 to 7 years

Join us each week for a fun time of stories, creative activities and more! Open to everyone!

Celebrate Canada's First Nations People
Date: Thursday, July 13
Time: 6:30 pm
Ages: 5 and older

Join us in our celebration of First Nations' culture. Hear stories, do crafts and learn something new.

Ages: Open to all

Bring a friend and get creative with some LEGO.

Beaver Fever!

Ages: 5 and older

Have fun exploring one of Canada's national symbols; the beaver.

Let's Talk Science

Time: 1:30 to 3:30
Ages: 8 to 12 year olds

Join us for 'Let's Talk Science' from the University of Windsor. Let's look at inventions and build some projects as part of their Entrepreneurial Science presentation. Space is limited, so sign up today.

Snye Creek Singers and Native Dancers

CKPL Grows Seed Library - Borrow. Grow. Return.

Stop by and check out some seeds from the CKPL Grows Seed Library.

CKPL Grows Seed Library provides and opportunity for residents of Chatham-Kent to grow healthy gardens and have access to affordable food. Chatham-Kent Public Library members can borrow seeds for free, save the seeds they grow and return some of the seeds to the library at the end of the growing season. You may borrow seeds from any of the following branches: Chatham, Ridgetown and Wallaceburg. You may donate seeds at any local branch.

Adult Colouring
Date: Wednesdays
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Ages: Open to all

What a great way to spend a few minutes or hours! Colouring is a great way to de-stress and relax. We even provide the materials! We have a large poster to complete that reads, "Love Your Library." Drop in. 

Chicks with Sticks
Date: Thursday afternoons
Time: 1:30 to 3:00 pm

Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn how? Join us every Thursday afternoon to trade patterns, give suggestions or to learn how to knit or crochet. Always something different for the change in season!

Group / School Visits

Class visits or group visits are always welcome at the Wallaceburg Branch. Come for a visit, browse the books, find out about our free databases or participate in a program designed just for you. Contact our staff to arrange a visit. 519.627.5292. Visits are arranged around the needs of the class and teacher.
