Rebecca and John Gardiner - "Memories for Sale: Tales From a Small Town"

You have seen the book, now see the art! An opening reception will be held for Rebecca's art work and John's book, including a short presentation. Join us for the evening. Everyone welcome.

Thursday Storytime
Date: Thursday, September 14 to October 19
Time: 10:45 am

45 minutes of fun stories, activities and finger plays. Space is limited. Register today.

Friday Friends
Dates: Fridays, September 22 to October 20
Time: 10:30 am to 11:15 am
Ages: 2, 3 & 4 year olds

Join us for stories, songs and fun! Please register or just drop in.

Date: Thursday, September 28
Time: 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm
Ages: 7 and older

Be creative and build using Minecraft to construct items in a 3D world. Space is limited. Registration is required.

P.A. Day Program
Date: Friday, September 29
Time: 10:30 am to 11:45 am

Please join us for an expanded Friday Friends program. Open to everyone. Drop in.

3D Printing Workshop on P.A. Day
Date: Friday, September 29
Time: 2:00 pm
Ages: 9 and older

Would you like to learn how to use the 3D printer? Join us for a workshop and then create your own 3D image. Space is limited. Registration is required.

Trivia Night at the Library
Date: Tuesday, October 3
Time: 6:00 pm

Back by popular demand! Sign up as an individual or a team of two. Registration is required.

Let's Go With Lego
Date: Saturday, October 14
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Drop in and create with our Lego pieces. Everyone welcome. 

Bouncing Babies
Dates: Mondays, October 16 to November 6
Time: 10:30 am to 11:00 am
Ages: 0 to 24 months

Parents and caregivers are invited to bring your 0 to 24 month old child for tickles, rhymes, bounces, songs and stories. Please bring a blanket each week. Registration is required.  

Adult Colouring and Puzzles
Date: Wednesdays
Time: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Ages: Open to all

What a great way to spend a few minutes or hours! Colouring is a great way to de-stress and relax. Open to everyone ages 16 and older. We even provide the materials! We have a large poster to complete that reads, "Love Your Library." Drop in. 

Chicks with Sticks
Date: Thursday afternoons
Time: 1:30 to 3:00 pm

Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn how? Join us every Thursday afternoon to trade patterns, give suggestions or to learn how to knit or crochet. Always something different for the change in season!

CKPL Grows Seed Library - Save your seeds for CKPL!

Please consider saving your seeds this fall and donating them to the CKPL Grows Seed Library. With your support, CKPL can continue to grow the seed library, offering more seeds next year. Donations can be dropped off at any CKPL branch.

Group / School Visits

Class visits or group visits are always welcome at the Wallaceburg Branch. Come for a visit, browse the books, find out about our free databases or participate in a program designed just for you. Contact our staff to arrange a visit. 519.627.5292. Visits are arranged around the needs of the class and teacher.
