An Afternoon with Carrie Snyder

Join us as we celebrate the grand finale of the 2016 - 2017 CK Reads program by welcoming Girl Runner author Carrie Snyder. 

Critically acclaimed author Carrie Snyder will be visiting the Chatham Branch Saturday, May 13 at 2:00 pm. Enjoy an afternoon with the author as we listen to a reading, have lively discussion and offer a book signing. This is a free event and registration is not required.

In addition to Girl Runner, Carrie Snyder is the author of two works of short stories and a book for children. Her first book, Hair Hat, was a finalist for the 2004 Danuta Gleed award for short fiction. Her second book, The Juliet Stories, was a finalist for the 2012 Governor General's award for fiction and was selected as a 2012 Globe and Mail top 100 book. Carrie has also written a book for children called The Candy ConspiracyCarrie's blog, Obscure Canlit Mama, can be found on her website.  She lives in Waterloo, Ontario.
