Needle Exchange

The Needle Exchange Program  (NEP) provides new needles and supplies to reduce the spread of blood-borne diseases. It also helps to  protect the public by reducing the number of needles discarded in places like playgrounds and washrooms.

You can bring in your used needles for disposal and get new ones by coming to:

 Hours
  • Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Closed for lunch.

The NEP provides:

  • Sterile needles & syringes
  • Alcohol swabs, filters, sterile water
  • Condoms & lube
  • Tourniquets (ties)
  • Acidifiers (vitamin C)
  • Cookers
  • Condoms
  • Sharps Containers
  • Information on safe drug use
  • Information on safe sex
