Prenatal Class Series
Healthy changes you make during pregnancy will benefit you and your baby. Call 519.352.7270, ext. 2903, early in your pregnancy to register. The prenatal series includes six classes and are offered on a regular basis.
e-learning Prenatal Classes
Learn about pregnancy, labour and birth, breastfeeding and new baby care in the comfort of your own home. The Gift of Motherhood is a free, web-based program with animated illustrations and videos. It is designed for parents-to-be to experience together to help you feel prepared for childbirth and your new parenting role.

Healthy Babies Healthy Children
A free program for expectant parents and families with children up to the age of six that provides advice, support, information, and connections to community agencies that will help meet the needs of the family. The Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program is designed to give children more opportunities for a better start in life by encouraging healthy child development and increasing parent confidence and skills. A Public Health Nurse and Family Home Visitor will visit you in your home. Call 519.352.7270 ext. 2903 for more information.
Building Healthy Babies
This Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program is offered in Chatham, Blenheim, Tilbury and Wallaceburg. Participants receive group teaching on pregnancy, nutrition, and infant care, support from Public Health Nurses and Dietitians, free food coupons, free prenatal vitamin coupons and information about other community programs. Please check for times and locations for group meetings.
Prenatal Dental Care
A Registered Dental Hygienist will provide preventative dental cleanings during your pregnancy if you have no dental coverage and cannot afford dental care. Please contact the Oral Health Team at 519.355.1071 ext. 5700 for more information.
