Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP)

Do you want more money in your pocket?

The Ontario Energy Board has a program which will reduce the electricity bills of low-income customers.

If you are a customer of an electric utility and in a lower income home, you may qualify for a reduction on your electricity bill through the Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP). The OESP will reduce the cost of your household electricity by applying a monthly credit directly to your bill.

The amount of the credit depends on two factors:

  • how many people live in the home and
  • the combined household income

HELP WITH THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS AVAILABLE!  Contact The Salvation Army at 519.354.1430 or your Case Manager at 519.351.8573 today!
