CK Homeless Response Line - 519.354.6628

On August 1, 2014, the CK Homeless Response Line was activated as a joint community service initiative of the Housing & Homelessness Committee. The Homeless Response Line fills a service gap identified as a priority recommendation in the Chatham-Kent Homelessness Plan for “after-hours” access to immediate emergency shelter.

People facing homeless crisis situations can call 519.354.6628 for after-hour service Monday through Friday 4:30pm to 8am and 24 hours/day on weekends and holidays. Callers will be screened, diverted to safe alternative housing, or, referred to local emergency accommodations. All callers will be referred to local community supports and services for help in finding stable long-term housing.
