Chatham-Kent has over 254 hectares (627 acres) and 166 unique locations for play or quiet relaxation. Our parks let you absorb the natural beauty of the outdoors without leaving the community.
Residents are encouraged to provide feedback regarding park conditions, safety and ideas to enhance the public’s recreation experience. For a list of parks and locations launch the RecConnect button on the upper right of this page.
Parks and other natural areas are special places. Help us to keep them special by abiding by the few basic rules in place to preserve and protect our parks.
These rules include:
- Motorized vehicles are to be used only in designated parking areas. Motorcycles, ATV's, trucks, cars, snowmobiles, etc. are not to be in parks or municipal open space areas. If you are not sure of the designated areas, call 519.360.1998.
- "Stoop and Scoop" after your pet.
- Do not litter.
- Plants, trees, and other vegetation are important to any park, please do not disturb or damage them.
